Most people like a broad range of music but what is your out and out favourite? Metal head? Shoe gazer? Or is Happy Hardcore bang bang bang chipmunks tunes your cup of tea?

(This is my first attempt at a poll. (I know!) So it probably won't work)

If I picked a decade it would be the 00's definitely, the music out there at the moment is brilliant, in every genre. But I picked Post Rock because I *' love it. :celt_2:

Also I meant to put the word pop after 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s but you all get the idea.

My favourite year for music was 1991, but I've picked Folk/Irish as my favourite all in.

I like quite a few of those genres but I went for 00's because that's when I developed most of my music taste.
I'd say I listen to rock music more than anything else.
Everything from Metallica to Michael Jackson.

That would come under world/ethnic or R'n'B depending on your taste, take your pick.

One of the problems in choosing one of the poll options is that the music I listen to really depends on my mood.
Right now I'd be up for some relaxing acoustic songs, but earlier on I was listening to Fat Boy Slim

Anything with a bit of passion, a good rhythm, a groove, a nice melody or a dirty as * sounding guitar. :icon_mrgreen:

    What makes you say that?
I think there has been a lot of good music released this decade.

im not into alot of it. 2000 is when the talentless manufactured pop fuckwits began emerging and basically making a mockery out of music for lots of money. 90s music was excellent.

I'll listen to absolutely anything so long as I like the sound of it, I know that sounds strange but I don't care what genre it comes from or who the guy singing it is.

Favourite band is The Killers but my music collection ranges from Sigur Ros and The Fureys to Armin Van Buuren and Tiesto, that's about as eclectic as it gets.
