fans on mulgrew

i will be the first one to admit that mulgrew has made a bad start to the season but some of the comments on the forum are disgraceful the lad must be nervous playing in cl after been playing at Aberdeen he was a free transfer so financially it hasn't been a disaster just think the lad needs a chance

 

Absolutely rotten signing. Defensively, he is dire. Aye he can hit a set piece but that means * all to me when he, as a fullback, can't defend.

Perfectly good squad player, I have no problem with him.

 

Dont know too much about the comments on here but the reality is that he is not good enough...as a left back. Not saying he should be abused but in all honesty we should not have brought him here. He would be better suited in midfield imo but we are already overloaded there.

Even if he did not cost too much in wages I think the money could have been used for a bit better quality in other areas. I think he will play more than some think this season as Izaguirre will be away on international duty a few times. As you and others have said though there is not much point shattering his confidence as it will only have a negative effect.

 

Decent from set pieces, pretty average defensively, no great.

 

Gets a lot of comments made about him that are harsh. He's here and he might improve with time. Its a big change. He has the set-piece ability. But that is irrelevant to defending.

Lets give him the benefit of an extended judgement period. I know it doesn't look good for him, but what he has to do, is excel agsint SPL teams on the next occasion he plays.

 

hasnt improved since he was last here and he was nowere near good enough then ! an absolute joke of a signing. he is a terrible defender, he is slow and he isnt good going forward. his set peices are average at best. overall he shoudnt be anywhere near our squad. a very poor poor player

 

Terrible, terrible player - should not be anywhere near our team or squad.

And he can take a set piece? So what? If that is all we after then lets see if Naka will come back. The fact that he can take set pieces should not make up for the fact he is *.

 

far to harsh on this guy guys , he cost nothing ,will he play every week = no , will he do ok in spl when required =yes ,he comes from a celtic supporting family (always a good thing imo) he deserves the same amount of time and chances as every new signing ,so lets back him and the rest of the team and not act or type like huns by slaging of our own player after he s only played in 1 league game.

I dont think he reads the game very well at all, found out of position on too many occasions

its not the end of though is it, seeing as his celtic career is only a few games in. He will be ok in the SPL imo

 

Straight into my all time worst dream team and should never be considered again.
