    I would just be happy if the old favourites like Mars and Snickers hadn't halfed in size and tripled in price over the last 35 years.

    We get utterly shafted on this island.

    When so much of the country are obese it probably isn't a bad thing chocolate bars are smaller. Although the Mars bar is smaller than peak size it's still bigger than it was in the 80s.

    I've have always thought we are cheap for things like chocolate and crisps compared to other countries.

    Maybe they just seemed smaller when I was a kid. Smaller hands and that.

    I mind them being much bigger though and about 20p from the van.

    I take your point about obesity but that should be a personal decision. This seems like a profit grab.

    Can get a 'share' bag of discos for £1 now. My salt intake has shot through the roof since they came out. Love salt & vinegar, unreal.

    back in the day when waiting for the shop van to come around our area of Castlemilk
    There was a bar or strips called whoppers I think

    Where you getting them for a quid? Farmfoods theyve went from a quid to 1.50 the last 8 months.

    Salt and v, cheese and onion and prawn cocktail.

    Prawn cocktail are always last to go but they're awrite as well.
