I know I start a diving thread and its not about *!

Nah but given recent events I thought there should be a thread dedicated to diving/cheating and general bawbaggery.

The thread title is very misleading. I came here to discuss Tom Daley's sport

 

Bale the monkey *. Him and Young are probably the worst for it and everyone goes on about the foreign boys being the worst

 

I didnt know being a wee poof was a sport these days

 

Bales dive yesterday was easily one of the worst I've ever seen. Except on MOTD2 yesterday they passed it off as a "comedy moment" . You can guarantee if Suarez had done that, or another one of the 'foreign boys' then there would have been a witchunt a against them

The best one is the guy just after 2 minutes who grabs the other man's arm and uses it to hit himself in the face. :smiley-laughing002:

 

I hope thats a bad attempt at sarcasm because suarez is the worst for it in the EPL or atleast amongst the big clubs,

 

For me Gareth Bale's wasnt a dive, the guy was running at Bale at 100mph and looked like he was going to swing the boot in, Bale for me was expecting to be clattered and jumped/"dived" to avoid an injury - he never dived to win a foul or get someone booked or sent off or any kind of advantage.

Imo if you never done what Bale done youd be stupid as it looked like a sore one was coming, but the player pulled out and it looked funny.

I think you need to seperate between trying to avoid being hit, to trying to make it look like you were hit.

Even the first Ronaldo one in that video above, for me its not a dive. Again there that guy looked like he was going to jump and stamp in and Ronaldo was trying to avoid an injury or beings stamped on, but the guy never done it.

 

Young is just as bad as suarez, the only difference is that young always gets a pen for it.

 

"English players don't dive" is one of the biggest myths going....Young, Welbeck, Andy Johnson, Gerrard, Rooney and Agbonlahor are some of the worst offenders.

Tbh, I see a difference between going down when there's been little contact and just completely diving....in foreign countries, it is actually a foul when there has been a bit of contact and their manager or teammates might have a go at them for not going over.

But diving when there has been absolutely no contact (Pires, Bale, Rooney etc) is * disgusting and should be a retrospective 2 game ban imo.

 

Hes nowhere near as bad as suarez, not even close and neither is bale.

 

He is, suarez dives get talked about more because he has a worse reputation than young, but young a cheating * aswell.

 

Aye last season he was because he done it twice within a week , before that i cant remember many other incidents with him doing although im sure he has but even at that hes not in luis suarez league, hes been a serial diver since he came to england, wasnt any different in holland either.

Come on man.....I remember Young doing it at Watford.....at Villa he was renowned for it.

Young is a cheating, diving * and always will be.....Rooney's just as bad, plus he has a disgusting and reckless temper.

Suarez is a diving * and so is Bale....among others.

 

Suarez is a * but typical no-one goes on about Huth stamping on his chest, or Bale diving, or Young diving, or Rooney when he dives, or "insert other name here".
