    while at coventry city "noel whelan" was having a bad time in his life ,marriage break up, depression and generally his head was * up

    wee gordon strachan saved him by letting him move in with him so that he could look after him

    i remember noel whelan on the telly pouring his heart out and telling the story of the time he was having and he couldn't praise WGS any higher

    i actually remember whelan saying some thing like strachan saved his life

    just thought id mention it

    Yip, he's not really the big bad man he's painted to be. Look at the genuine absolute devastation on his face when TB passed away or the fact he let Mark McGhee stay with him and his family for months when he first moved back up here.

    Being a * in interviews is a big facade, he's as cuddly as a teddy bear really!

    Hedmans, the bold Magnus is meant to have decked him at one point I think he was sporting a shiner after some night out or training or something. I can't really remember.
