Is the Darts going to be good this evening? I heard there are 6 matches or so? I seen a little bit of some earlier rounds and it's pretty exciting stuff. It must be the golden era of darts, I mean these guys are throwing 100 averages on a poor night, it's unbelievable.

Darts players used to get absolutely hammered before big games. Helped them relax they said. I'm going to guess that 100 averages weren't that common then. The rivalry would've been much better though, imagine the wind ups on the ockey if they both had a bevvy in them :smiley-laughing002: Actually WVG would probably have got knocked out if he roared like that in the face of a drunk man.

I would normally be supporting Scotland (Anderson) but I just think WVG is so supernatural when he's in full flow it would be great to see him winning it in style.

 

Even though I'm not sure if Darts deserves to be called a sport, I wanna attend these tournaments one day. * of an atmosphere, everyone dressed up and drunk as *. :icon_mrgreen:

Oh I'd love to go to the darts. It looks like one of the best nights out, a real party atmosphere. Plus the drama of the darts matches themselves, it must've been brilliant.

 

I like how he's got the same song as Tony Watt.

Seems to be quite a few matches where players have been behind a bit and came back to win. Must be a game where nerves can play such a huge part because you've got to have a steady hand. Then the crowd start giving it big pantomime crescendos when you're throwing some extra important darts :smiley-laughing002: * knows how they manage to do a 9 darter.

 

I'd have given Wade a better match then Wes Newton just did

 

He was playing well not so long ago as well

However, I have two rules when betting on darts.

Got Michael Smith at 33/1, Lewis at 12/1 and Wade at 19/1 before the start of the tournament there my bets £5 on each
