    The sentence/language structure in saying "20 odd" or "20 something" even if it's still an approximate figure, you've put the number first "and then some," 20 is your starting point not anything less, but if you say "about 20" you've got the approximation before the number so you can go either way. They're not the same thing.

    The TL;DR is that some people are very intolerant if someone discusses Maeda's stats using a grammatical structure that doesn't exist (with that meaning) in their particular idiolect but that many other native speakers accept and use and that is even listed in several dictionaries. Apparently meanings don't change and etymology fixes them in place forever. Who knew?

    Is anyone else worried that he might not be the same when he comes back? He's been incredible; but his game is all about his physical attributes.
