He's good in the games against them aye.

I do think though that in many of our domestic games we are often looking for someone more creative to break down a defence when there is less space and that's where I hope Palma can come in.

Might not be the greatest but his attitude, work rate and speed and the very fact that Captain "We need to learn from this" and TikTod" are stuck permanently in his back pocket will do for me plus he's down to appear as the next Bond villain

Agree with the similar assessment with Agathe.

He gets into some wonderful positions through his workrate and pace, but that bit of composure to make a simple cut back to an unrushing attacker who is ahead of there defensive but behind Maeda's pace for a tap in is lacking.

But he can put the fear of * into a defence through his harrassing and explosive turn of pace, that it can change the dynamics of their team

He seems to be a better player the better the opposition.

Could have stuck my boot through the TV when AJ kept the ball in play and he didn't go for it

Quality wise he just isn't at it in these sorts of games, games where you might get one or two chances to do something. Sure he works his balls off but that doesn't count for much if when you've got it you can't manufacture something.

To be fair looked like it clearly went out. But yeh, shouldn't stop until the whistle.

Thought he looked more comfortable tonight than most. Maybe O'Riley was ahead of him on that score tonight.

I honestly thought he was one of our best players.

He's a weird yin, he's excellent against the huns, Hibs and the likes and just put in a solid performance against Feyenoord, but I've no doubt he'll put on an all time stinker this weekend away to Livingston.

    Still love him.

O'Riley was our best starter by far; but I'd have Maeda just behind him with Scales and maybe also Johnston.

I understand his running is generally pretty good but how many times does he run the ball up the park and it comes to absolutely nothing, the bit of play where AJ keeps it in and he stands on it I thought kind of summed up his night, endeavour but not much else.

The kind of game I'm happy we've got him for. Did well for the most part.
