Commons needs dropped!

Is it just me or is Kris Commons fat?

He looks really overweight and his performance tonight was dire. Skyed the ball way over the bar like 4 times from long range.

 

He's built like a brick shithouse. Pure muscle, and don't think that's whats making him play poorly.
EDIT: His * vision, on the otherhand, is a cause for concern.

 

There's already been a thread on this. he's useless on the right, that's all I'm saying.

 

I think it is time to drop Commons, as he is not contributing enough to the team, and looks out of condition.

Looks to me like Commons is living on past reputations.

 

not fat but played poorly tonight. much better on the left than on the right.

and he needs to learn he cant expect to score from 30 plus yards out every time he gets the ball

 

looks like hes put on 3 stone in the close season-fat *! skippy was the same after a good first season-these * have to realise you ve got to do better every season.its not motherwell or feckin derby county,it the mighty glasgow celtic,we fear no one,we dont eat all the pies

 

He's a monster.

His problem is that since his arrival he's been outstanding, magnificent, simply out of this world. That has boosted people's expectations. They expect him to play on that level day in day out which is more or less impossible and also unreal.

He's still a very good player.

Forrest deserves the nod ahead of him for at least 1 game, show him hes not undroppable hopefully get his finger oot!!

 

i havent really been looking at how fat he is when i get distracted by his shockingly poor football. i know its only 4 games into the season but he hasnt performed in any of them.

 

not the same player when played on the wrong side of the pitch.

 

he said in the paper hes been busting his balls lifting weights to bulk up , cus when he played for scotland he noticed he was getin knocked off the ball by other leaner players. Hes not fat .. just bulked up.

was poor the night though .

 

Play him on the left and Stokesy in the middle........ If everyone else can see why cant Lenny

 

he does look a bit bigger but if he does what he did last year (which he hasnt started doing yet) i dont care if hes as big as fat *...

 

He's not fat. He's solid as a brick wall. He played poorly tonight, but that's just a case of temporary bad form (he's been exhibiting it all year). He'll be fine.

I'll say, I think we have some of the most tempestuous and petty fans in the world that post on this board. If he were fat or out of condition, don't you think Lennon would be the first to notice and let him ride the bench for a while? But obviously from my TV screen, I've more knowledge than Lenny

 

How do you know its muscle and not fat? John Hartson was out of condition but played great for us. I'm not saying he should be dropped, as long as he keeps up good performances I don't care if he looked like Mr Blobby.

 

hartson controlled his weight under o 'neil ..but during a period under strachan.. he balooned, which is why i think he was shipped off to west brom .

As one of the lads said there .. if lennon thinks commons is fat , he'd certainly drop him and put him on extra training or something. Far from fat .. giving that we're past pre season stage now .

 

I didn't see the match tonight, but I don't think he's as good as people make out.
