No comeback from me, if fans are willing to accept such mediocrity or lower these days in players football ability at Celtic then it's pretty sad what some fans accept and laud as decent players when they're clearly not.

We need a massive clear out in the Summer that much is obvious but there will be a reason for that most likely not happening, that will be because no one will be interested in the majority of our players and for a reason I'm sure most will guess.

That's a quote from a supposed Celtic supporter.

Why would you get rid of mulgrew? I'm not his biggest fan in central midfield but he's a very steady player for us anywhere he's been asked to play.

Absolute utter nonsense. Extreme negativity. You obviously have never watched the team train. in fact, no "real" Celtic supporter would agree with you.Not surprised though, looking at your previous posts. Not one has anything positive to say what so ever,Disgrace!:bbpd:

you cant say that, i am always encouraging our players, and i love our new system, always had hope for them, but i have always been irked by Mulgrew, from years back hes one of the VERY few players i cant stand... i worry if he breaks into the team again hes gonna bring his sluggish crappy football in too..

but thats the problem, hes scottish so we cant criticize him, right? im sick of all the foreign players getting stick...but no..no.. leave wee jamesy and ole chuckky alone. nonsense. (dont get me wrong i love forrest).

I am not fickle whatsoever, just always had a problem with 'mildews's poor level of football. but i wont mind him replacing denayer at CB if he goes back to man city. BUT for the love of all that is holy do not let charlie anywhere near the halfway line.

Forrest and Mulgrew get far more stick than anyone else, along with Stokes :56:

You were one who didn't really rate him all that much a couple of months ago if I remember correctly.

Couldn't agree more with that, Brown used to get loads of * as well... daft to think they're immune because of their country.

People on here have got bad/short memories and seem to have forgotten what a good player Mulgrew is , and how important he can be for us. Can not wait til he is back in contention .

Totally agree mate, but I do think that the position he has played most consistently for us was when he was used as a CB. I don't think he should be played in midfield, unless we are short. Mind you, he has played some good games at CDM for Scotland, but CDM is the only midfield spot I might consider for him.
When did Charlie last score a free kick for us? He went through a spell where he was prolific from outside the box! His crossing was unbelievable at times.

It will be nice to have him back in and around the squad however he shouldn't be in the starting 11.

If Bitton starts playing poorly then Mulgrew could get a chance but in all honesty I don't like him in midfield. Not really fussed what anyone says, never have liked him in there ever since Lennon first started him as a CM after winning POTY playing the vast majority of that time at CB/LB.
