    That thread about Rangers and Chelsea possibly having link got me thinking on something i've never really been sure about. Do Celtic have any links with any other teams? (apart from the likes of St. Pauli etc)? Tbh, i don't think there is but i would like to clear it up for sure. Any thoughts on this are very much appreciated .. :icon_mrgreen:

    Have you seen how much rangers fans wear chelsea tops ?
    The link is loyalism. rangers and the chelsea headhunters.

    When chelsea played at sunderland, i went, and a lot of rangers there with their flags and tops and all that.
    So they have a link.

    celtic ,celta vigo,vigo even adopted celtics colours and name


    i think i read somwhere theres a link with sporting lisbon,,hence the hoops being worn by lisbon "i am probley wrong here but could have been after 1967 when celtic won the big cup in lisbon ,sporting were so impressed they adopted the hoops"

    as i said probley wrong on the lisbon one

    The CSC always had a good 'working relationship' with The Frontline. Good lads :50:
    A lot of ordinary Wrexham fans regard Celtic as their 2nd team aswell though. :wales: :scotland: :ireland:

    Round about the mid-80's you would see a lot of 'half & half' ski hats at games.
    Celtic/Arsenal, Celtic/Man.Utd., & Celtic/Everton, were the most common.

    Buckie Thistle. Celtic gave Buckie strips to either play in their first ever match or to play in a friendly against Celtic(cant remember which). To this day Buckie wear green & white hoops.

    Can someone tell me more about the Celtic - Wrexham link? I have always liked Wrexham since I was wee and never knew about this link.

    What about Belfast Celtic, there must be a link there its why the Belfast old timers refer to celtic as Glasgow Celtic
