I'd like him the most as well but he wasn't actually linked. Think @McGrory1888 said we'd potentially looked at the possibility of him.

He can play as a striker so would make sense. Just sign all 3.

Interesting so far that we are mainly being linked with same players we have been previously 'monitoring'
I'd have expected a few new names and a few drop off radar given the changes(?) in our recruitment team.

Now that's either lazy journalism in absence of new information (likely) or the recruitment targets, surprisingly, haven't changed.
    Time will tell.

Our recruitment team has been same.for over 1 year now.

Balikshwala was close last summer am sure he or his club said until he got injured.
Sondre said he carried his passport around in janaury on him it was that close.
KT interestingly said he was close to a move back which didnt happen for a reason (Scotland injury last year most likely)

I wonder if we will go back in for Diawara now.

Two players at the end of their contract, so can see why they were done early.

I can imagine winger is taking priority as our left wing is Yang and Maeda and I get the impression we don't want to play Maeda on the wing unless needed. The club probably knows Kuhn is leaving, so with Jota injured that leaves us two down and we need to get wingers in quick.

    Balikwisha

    New DM
    New LB
    New CB

I think I’d be happy with that, then if any of our current key players leave, replacing them adequately

    You're not the only one.
The Norwegian level is not very good, and that's the best of his highlights they are showing.
I like that Javi Puado too, looks the better bet to me.
We need big time players, who can turn it on in big games.

I'd like that but I can't see DM coming in, I think it's required but I also think an attacking midfielder is required and something we struggled with at times if Hatate wasn't fit. You can see it's been missing since O'Riley went.

I think Kuhn and Hatate leave (not including Taylor). So they will likely need replacing but I'd imagine that will be later in the window.

Has spent most of his career in the norwegian 2nd tier. Has only 1 full season under his belt in the norwegian top division. Only a few caps at youth international level indicating he wasn't exactly highly rated until relatively recently. Don't see the appeal tbh, especially at the rumored price of 7m.

Seen someone posting about a Scott Burns Q&A where he said that the Fulham lad and Doohan will be announced shortly but there’s also a bigger signing announcement imminent …

part of me thinks he’s just taking a stab in the dark but who knows.

I'm the same mate, don't see the appeal of him.Not at £7M, I would baulk at that.
But I must say I am coming round to that Javier Puado of Espanyol. Looks like he can play a bit too, strong and quite potent in attack, would fill that problem right wing spot. That would give us the cover at RW if Kuhn leaves, and I think he will. We would still have Yang, Forrest, and Balikwisha if signed, can play right wing too, Jota at a push can play there too, but less effective.

Scott Burns in his latest Q&A in the daily record

A deal for Fulham striker Callum Osmand has been agreed and should be announced imminently.

I was speaking to Ross Doohan after the game and was politely asked not to talk about his future.

His return will also be confirmed very soon. KT is back and there will be some bigger signing news coming pretty soon.

I’m really surprised at doohan coming back to us. With a successful move and season as first team keeper there’s more chance of him gaining more Scotland caps. Being third choice for us surely means the end to his playing career

Can provide cover at all 3 positions up front. Was mainly used at LW this season, but has regularly played at RW in the past. Could be a stop-gap replacement for Jota at LW and then move to the RW if we sell Kuhn (hope we keep him personally). Can even operate as a false 9, if necessary. Per transfermarkt, here are the positions he played this season.

Would be a cracking signing, albeit a difficult one to pull off. Some of the teams rumored to be monitoring him are Besiktas, Olympiacos, Sevilla, Sociedad, Valencia, Girona and Atletico. If Atletico makes an offer, I don't think we can afford him anymore.

Can't remember the last time we were linked to so many players early on.

Essentially 3 in the door already, Tierney and Osmund will make a difference and Doohan will help with the Scottish quota.

We should always look to get the majority of our business done before August, so it's a good sign so far.

That would be the ideal for me … would genuinely try get him here for the rest of his career.

    Absolutely love the guy.

We were strongly linked to him in January.
