As I said in the other thread it's a tie that we should be more than capable of winning.

    Glad to have avoided Molde.

    Come on the Sam Brownes!

Tough game, you don't win 7-0 in the champions league for no reason, regardless of opposition

We hopefully will qualify but. And its not the furthest away tie

Looking at their record last season, they were formidable in their league. Won 26, drew 3, lost 4 - goals scored at an average of 2.5 a game which is mental in all honesty.

i would hope we have what it takes to beat them. if we cant beat a team like this then we would get destroyed in the CL.

do they have summer football in finland?

Can't comment I don't know too much about them, could have been worse I suppose.

    Hmmm...

Sound like a decent enough team.

However, I'd be horrified if we were to be dumped by them.

Another case of us playing a team half way through their season - thankfully, after last season where they had a stormer, this season has been far less prosperous. Averaging less than 2 points per game, and only a goal and a half per game....on paper, that looks slightly more promising.

They've got a decent home record. Haven't lost a league match there since August 2010.

We should bid for a couple of their players to unsettle them:86:

This my real concern is the fact they are already up and running in their league so i would imagine Lenny will be looking to play his strongest side in our remaining friendlies and any league games before then to get them up to speed and we should be ok for the next round. :50:

Was reading (for right or for wrong) that the average wage in that league is circa 30k per year. Or, put another way, the same money Daryl Murphy takes home in 21 days.

Puts in to perspective where we should be in terms of dispatching this level of opposition. However, then you look at the rankings and see that Finland are one spot ahead of us.....
