There was basically no reaction. It just showed you Lennon having a wee smirk.

I hope this isn’t shown on the news tbh.

It will make us look really amateurish.

Who sits around and cheers a cup draw?

That’s something a small club does when they pull Man Utd out of the FA Cup.

    Come on mate.

Our young team are excited at not only getting into the CL but playing the best club side on the planet.

To be honest I'd say an awful lot of clubs/players do.

    What?

Every single club in the draw would have done it. We had a press conference afterwards to discuss the draw and clearly Lenny has allowed the cameras to roll a bit early.

    Ridiculous criticism :56:

For me that is sad and also quite sick.

I don’t remember seeing Henrik and Sutton sitting around giving each other high fives when were put into groups with Juventus and Bayern Munich.

Of course, I could be wrong, perhaps the players just sat there and had a little laugh. Nothing wrong with that I suppose. I’d hate to think it was one of those FA Cup reactions... whole room crowded, family there, holding hands, champagne etc.

    FFS that’s embarrassing.

So they should. Chance to play against the greatest Barcelona side of all time in a competitive game it wont get much better for most of our players!

What's wrong with being happy to be in the Champions League?

You don't remember Larsson and Sutton doing it because you weren't there. :56:

I think some people are on * drugs :56:

Are top players that full of themselves they don't care who they draw now? Catch a grip FFS, every single player from every single club would have been glued to the TV to see who they got. I know this because the majorty of them tweeted their feeling approximately 10 seconds after they learnt their fate.

There was basically no reaction in the room. The camera was focused on Lennon who was writing down notes of the groups and smiled a bit when he seen Celtic's group. The only other reaction you seen was Dylan turning and speaking to the guy next to him.

In fact I was a bit surprised nobody seemed bothered.

Twitter and more media access has changed things from how it was 10 years ago, so we can't really tell how draws were followed before. But I'm pretty sure all teams kept a very close eye on who they'll get.

And FFS why criticise our players, who gathered around after training? Ronaldo, Iniesta and Messi were so * eager, they flew to Monaco to watch it live. :86:

As Gary Hooper said, he's went from Non-League to Champions League in a matter of 6 years. I would imagine he'd have been sitting with baited breath for our group. Same with the majority of our other players that haven't had a stab at Champions League.

If it were me I'd DEFINITELY have been jumping around when we were drawn with Barca. What a rush!

90% of our squad have never played in the Champions League, obviously they'll be excited and we've not been there for 4 years. Ridiculous criticism and aslong as we finish in the top 3 and give it our best, who gives a * how our players react during a draw?

What's * embarrassing is when Celtic players are called 'embarrassing' for celebrating the draw.

I'm sure Tony Watt didn't think he'd be in with a chance of playing against Gerard Pique 12 months ago, lighten the * up and let them savour the moment. :31::31:

They've got every right to celebrate if they want to.
It's a big deal in a footballers career to play at such a level. Facing teams like this is going to be a dream come true for most.
