CELTIC INJURY CLUB
Celtics injury list has extended once again with the news that Paul Hartley and Massimo Donati have joined the ever increasing list of casualties.
Paul Hartley, 32 could miss the game with St Mirren as he was forced out of the international friendly with Argentina just before the hour. Few will argue that Paul Hartley has been enjoying a good run of games for Celtic during this injury crisis, scoring in the last two games for his beloved Hooped heroes.
Massimo Donati, 27 will miss the Aalborg game, having been on the bench in all the Champions League group games so far this season, coming on in the 1-1 draw with Manchester United. He broke his toe in training and Celtic have yet to confirm how long they will be without the ex-AC Milan midfielder.
The fresh news of more injuries will come as something of a horror story to manager Gordon Strachan as the clash with Aalborg on Tuesday 25th November is a vital, must win fixture for The Bhoys as their hopes of being in Europe over Christmas looks an ever impossible task. They will have to combat this huge list of injuries and their woeful away form in this competition to record their first ever win on the road if they are to stand any chance of progression to the knock-out stages.
