do you guys seeing this changing with Mogga coming in, not sure if he is a fan of mcmanus or not but likes caldwell and managed him at hibs so could be his time to be leader?

 

A hope theres a change in captaincy because mick doesnt deserve it imo and it would be a mistake to make him captain>>>> brown or caldwell should get it

 

I think it'll be Caldwell, and should be, going by performance big Mick is probably our 3rd best centre half, maybe 4th if O'Dea got more games.

With Mick injured Caldwell and Loovens will probably start at the back, and Caldwell will probably be captain in McManus' absence.

If they play well they will keep playing together, and Caldwell will remain as captain.

If McManus fails to get back in the team after injury he will still remain as club captain with Caldwell the only natural successor as team captain.

 

I think this might be a bit tricky for Mowbray...

McManus looks like being injured for the start of the season and it look like Jan is off this summer, so Caldwell would be the obvious choice to start the season as captain.

The tricky bit comes when McManus if fit again. If he is given the armband back there may be a few fans questioning the manager. Then again if he sticks with Caldwell you can just imagine the headlines in the daily rags claiming McManus has been stripped of the captaincy and what not.

At the end of the day its down the gaffer

 

I would only give Caldwell it if he signs a new long term contract.

Remember on here just over a year ago, Caldwell was the wipping boy lol

i think caldwell should get it, i dnt think mcmanus should be in the squad let alone playing and being captain

 

It should be changed to Caldwell

 

Scot Brown should be captain if it is to change.

 

The Captiancy should defintely change to Caldwell in my opinion unless big Tony has other ideas.
