hey people just wondering are away tickets hard to come by in spl,we come over from cork a few times a year but just to park head, ive heard the atmosphere is unreal at the away games, suppose to be the hard core fans attend these games?i was at the aviva cup in dublin in july and the celtic fans that traveled over from glasgow made the day for all,the singen and banter was nuts just wondering is this typical of an away game??

    Absolutely :celt_2:

Away tickets are easy enough to get for the likes of Killie, Motherwell, St. Johnstone etc. Think you'd be able to get tickets for Dundee Utd and Dunfermline without much hassle as well.

Does your supporter's club not run trips to away days ? Or any other supporter's bus in your area ?

And aye a season ticket would help you get away tickets as you'll probably need to quote your client code if you're phoning to book away tickets.

at most grounds you can still pick up tickets on the day of the game, hamilton, dundee united, st johnstone, hamilton, killie and hibs are easy enough. its tynecastle, ICT, the huns and pittodrie that are hard, if not impossible, to get unless you're a regular at away days and you buy your tickets from the club.

the support is always better when we're away, complete reb sessions but make sure you're in the right stand.

Last years away games were unbelievable, some great atmosphere and non stop singing,

But It's been quite quiet at away games recently

The police have been very heavy handed on us and will use anything against you this year. They're particularly targetting our away support

    It's absolutely ridiculous

They're targeting us due to this new "crackdown" on sectarianism. As I said the other day the police presence at our away games has been a lot more noticeable.

i haven't been to an away game this season but i can imagine the cops mingling in with the crowd puts people on edge alright, you never know what you'll get lifted for. i was thrown out of a home game last season for giving some away fans the fingers. bring back the jungle, carryouts and rebs galore.

away days under mowbray were actually alright if we had won, its a completely different feeling to being at games at paradise. everyones been on the * since the crack of dawn, good banter on the bus and plus we're in someone elses ground, we want to make ourselves heard, and we do.

a cara i would get in touch with a CSC in glasgow when you's know you'll be coming over. a massive CSC like greenock, they'll always have spares for most away games.

Ill be honest, the away games this year have been pretty pish.

I know Hibs and St Mirren are not normally bouncing, but Aberdeen is usually jumping, and apart from after Stokesy Stokesy Stokesy's goal, it was poor.

Dont think its anything other than police presence and cameras though. Rebs are for sure being toned down. With the next two away games being Huns and Hearts, it will hopefully pick right up.

Can't see our support going big with the rebs at the shitpit, barely a rebel song sung the last time we played there, and it was Easter of all times!

Hopefully a trip to Swinecastle will re-ignite things :celt_2:
