Terror of M8 kids as bus is attacked

    By PAUL DRURY
    Published: Today

YOUNG kids screamed in terror as a bus full of pilgrims was attacked by thugs on a motorway in the centre of Glasgow yesterday.

Dozens of adults and children were being ferried to Bellahouston Park on the M8 through Charing Cross when the rear window of their coach "exploded".
One nine-year-old girl was cut on the face by flying glass as the coach's entire window blew in.
It is believed something was thrown from a bridge or a raised area of the motorway.
One mum said: "Everyone was shaking and the kids were crying. It is shocking that this should happen."
The pilgrims, from Our Lady of Lourdes Church in East Kilbride, were told to stay on board until a replacement coach arrived, around 30 minutes later.
The attack came just hours before the Pope's motorcade passed along the stretch of road.

Jee I wonder who could possibly have been responsible for this! :87:

Yes terrorising innocent women and children on their way to a religious ceremony, they must be very lovely people. No doubt they'll be having a good laugh about it with their mates in the pub before heading to Ibrox on Saturday. :87:

I was in a car once & the rear window exploded when we went over
    a man-hole.
The guy told us it probably had a little chip & my mate had left
    rear heated window on.

Maybe this is what happened.Or something was shot up by a
    vehicle passing close by.

I cannot believe this was a deliberate attempt.

    Maybe i am naive.

As for the rangers supporter comment ,i have seen a lot of
hate coming from our supporters towards the pope

That would be one * of a coincidence if that was indeed what happened.

Absolutely disgraceful but unfortunately not surprising, I hope they all managed to put the incident behind them and enjoy the rest of their day.

Targeting a bus going to something like that is a disgrace ,but to do it when kids and older people are on these buses is barbaric ,they are rotten to the core these people who do things like this but it will be overlooked and noone saw anything.

How would they get the back of the bus? Just a question unless it was going very slow right enough.
