    Anyone know where I can get Buckfast? Was watching Alan Carr show a few weeks ago and he was saying it's illegal in England. Any truth in that? Any information is appreciated :50:

    mmm bucky, i prefer the middle numbers, 10 - 15 i think.

    If you cant find bucky then mavrodafni is similar i think (only had that once)

    Doubt its illegal in Liverpool or anywhere down south for that matter.

    Still rarely go a weekend without at least one bottle, fantastic stuff.

To the original poster, check the web mate, you can probably buy it in cases from somewhere relatively cheap considering the retail going rate for it. Good luck, hope you get your wish - i know how much a man into his bucky enjoys his bucky :p

    I've had Buckfast in Southport ( 'bout 20 - 30 miles from Liverpool )a few years ago, it was in a small off-licence just off the main street. So should'nt be to hard to find in the Pool !

    I can't understand why anyone would want to drink that *. It is made in England, so I doubt it would be made illegal there!
