I have to say, this whole thing just seems like something that was written to happen and be a success. Everything about it, the timing, the history with Tommy, the fact he relishes working with young players and we have them in an abundance, five in a row, the fact he is a genuine Celtic man. It just seems like Rodgers is the perfect man for the job at this current moment in time, and we are on the cusp of something great.

I'm trying not to get too carried away, as there was a point last season (after the Inter game and our very good domestic form) that I was totally convinced Deila would be a success too. Football can change very quickly.

I do think this is different though, can just sense something big is on the horizon over the next couple of seasons. No doubt the fans are going to be behind him from the get go, which today proved, but I hope he hits the ground running both domestically and in Europe to really get the momentum going and the thunder firmly back at Parkhead.

Just kept having dreams about all this. Honestly just feels unbelievable. The man is many levels above what weve had in recent years and cant wait to see what will happen here

  6. as i posted the other day, there really would be no better time to rename lennoxtown, imo its now or never, and brendan is the man to push it through,

Just woke up in a * * mood then remembered yesterday after reading that wee excerpt about Tommy and a wee tear of joy came from nowhere.

I'm either really emotionally unstable or just happy as * about us just now:56:

Just watched the video of him addressing the fans in front of the stand, absolute scenes man!

Such a buzz about the place and I know and he knows he is under lots of pressure and the expectations are sky high but hopefully once all the mayhem has settled we can start being a bit more realistic about the CL.

It's not guaranteed to get off to a flyer but no doubt we will see him given the time and patience to mould his team.

Was there yesterday after work, absolute buzz about the place now - very excited for the start of the season now!
Just hope that the board give him the resources and time that he needs to succeed.

I don't think he would have taken the job in the first place if assurances weren't given regarding budget for players :50:
