Thought he was excellent tonight, couldve conceding more towards the end as we were growing tired but the big man pulled of some fantastic saves to keep it respectable.
Glad we have him as our NO1.

Aye, saved an Arda Turan shot on the bar and made a Boruc-esque one on one save in the closing seconds. Two brilliant ones, off the top of my head :50:

That's the last 2 games he's played very well. Minimal flapping. Pretty commanding and tonight pulled off 2 top saves.
THought he would have been the weak link tonight too.

The save from Turan was terrific, thought it was going in.

Was just about to start a thread about him.

Credit where credit's due. I never really wanted him to re-join us because I wasn't convinced by him:rolleyes:

He's been great since he returned, made 3 or 4 top class saves and looks like he's improved since last year:50: Hopefully he continues in the same form:icon_mrgreen:

Rumored to be around the £2M mark. It would be a bargain for a young keeper with his ability, and the prospect of becoming even better in the years to come.

Celtic will make a killing on this guy if we cough up the fee at the end of the loan.

I can't fathom the negativity that was coming from so many of my fellow Tims when it was rumoured he was coming back. Hopefully tonights performance will convince a few more doubters.

Glad folk are starting to warm to him. Think he's going to be a cracking big keeper for Celtic.

I think he is a poor keeper, yes a couple of good saves but stood with his hands together at the first goal , no attempt to go for it. For a keeper with his height he does not dominate the box. The Spanish keeper look more agile and sharper.

A few good saves, no doubt but disappointed he didn't move for the first goal. And after seeing repeat of repeat of the goals Vs Sion, he was disappointing that night as well. Having said that he's young enough and if he continually improves then he'll earn his contract. If not it's back to searching for a new #1.
    Simples!

He's still young and hopefully will continue to improve with experience, he has the build required, just needs time to develop.

Couple of good saves but I'm still not a fan. The big thing for me is his ability to command his own box (or lack thereof). He's 6 foot 7 and well built theres no excuse for someone of his size to perform so badly at crosses and corners. That said he has excellent reflexes and is good at shot stopping for a guy his size. I will support him while he's here but we can and should be getting a better Keeper sooner rather than later :50:
