    With plenty of Scottish club's beginning to become Fan owned already and if Labour get into power down south they are implementing a law which states that all Club's must be at lest 10% fan owned should is it something we as a whole should look to achieve

    Let's face it DD isn't investing anytime soon you could argue that he brings stability but we have stagnated and have been regressing for about 10 years now with fan's on the board we could also slow down are " commercialization" England is the only major league which is full of "owners" where not going to ever compete with team's from there having the same business models and infrastructure

    I think its something we will do in the next few years when DD starts winding down. I hope he leaves us a few bob when he does as a parting gift as well.

    What I was going to say, probably less than 5% of our shareholders wont be fans even if that lol

    Fan ownership meaning fairly even split among just normal fans would probably be very messy with big disagreements etc id want to avoid it. Smart businessmen running us as a smart business is the way forward.

    In certain countries, they use the 51% rule. (Germany & Scandinavia).

    I think people are misinterpretating fan ownership and being owned by fan's

    Could be wrong though

    Some of the others who own 1%/2% are Willie Haughey, Jim Kerr and Gerald Wiesfeld.

    Them that own over 12% Bank of New York are owned by The Bank of New York Mellon who are worth £374billion lol their headquarters are 1 Wall Street, New York.

    Out of interest,why do you think,the bank of new your have a12.9% share steak in Celtic.
    I jest not,a vastly rich company investing in a financially minute money making company.

    James Keane is a strange one, 4th largest shareholder and no record of him being a fan.

    Tom Allison is a businessman, not 100% on him being a fan, sure he is a Tory though.

    Denis O'Brien might be a fan or he might just be an ally and friend of Desmond.

    Chris Trainer I think is a fan 'owns' 11%. Sold about 5% to his own company and made a mint when we reached the last 16.

    Fucknos, I got the major shareholders from the accounts and it listed tham as owning 12.86% but I noticed on the Celtic website they are listed as owning 12.99% now, must be actively buying shares as well not like they got shares 10 year ago and they've just sat waiting on them going up in price :97:
