attacking football

i can start my rant now we are safely through to the group stages,if someone has posted similar to this i apologise ...anyway my point is, how the * can anyone say that celtic or spartak dont deserve to be in the group stages...this game was absolutely fantastic it had everything possible ...goal line clearance's ,sending off,missed penalties,you all now you would have watched it yourself, oh aye and a will to win excellently demonstrated by boruc and naylor, now in contrast to rangers playing against the red star inn , i have never been more bored in my life , both games were pish at best, i mean the argument about it being the champions league will go on but i wonder how rangers would have done against a team of the quality that spartak were, i suppose we will never know the answer to that but from what i seen red star inn couldnt have scored in a brothel...i cant believe the contrast in football between the two ties one was pure attacking football drama the other was a dull sedative that made you wish for the after life ...anyway i suppose its good for scottish football.....

 

Haha I agree. The Red Star game wash pish. Ye can't blame Rangers though, Walter Smith knew Red Star have no cutting edge, so they just defended and got the 0-0 draw easily to send them through...

Yip walter smith and his boring style of football, it gets him the win but the games were pish.

Celtic had harder challenge and instead of doing it the easy way starachan did not want a boring draw.

 

Yeh we did it in style and made a game that will live long in the memories, both teams should be in it, much worst teams have qualified

 

The reason they got rid of Smith in the first place was his European results. They just want some domestic success and quick coz the natives r getting restless ie they aint buying season tickets
