I am. WGS got his tactics right and did stuff nobody expected. We were in a position to win it with a single break until the final second of extra time. Given the difference in resources I think WGS has shown he has European credentials. A great normal time away result. Most players played well tonight except Naka who had a rare off night. Artur, Telfer, Mick, O'Dea and Naylor were superb. A superb defensive performance. We are lacking a bit in attack once you reach this stage but we could have snatched it. One of the few defeats I dont feel too bad.

I'm unbelievably proud of my team tnite! They gave it their all and I have to say our defence played out of their skin and that can only bode well as they can only grow and gain more experience!

The tactics were perfect and they were so close to working, if we had only got more chances than you never know what could've happened!

    Well done Bhoys

I hope people are not too hard on Sno. He played fine aganst world class players until about the 75th minute when he was clearly knackered and should maybe have been subbed then. Not may 19 year olds who dont even regularly play in SPL games could have done anything like as well. He will be a good player but this was serious deep end stuff for him.

Yeh gotta say if I would have done one thing differently it would've been to take Sno off earlier but what can you do, tis football

I'm not being hard on Sno but he's honestly not fully ready for big games like this, I'm of the opinion that WGS should have had Tommy G on from the start instead of Sno as 2 DM's isn't a good idea in a match we need to score a goal in.

The 1st was a penalty but the Naka one was a dive. He should have shot instead of looking for the pen. Naka had a very poor game by his high standards tonight.

I am a Milan fan and want to congratulate your team for a great performance but overall I think we deserved to pass, since we had more chances than you in CP and more chances at SanSiro. Dida didnt do one save and tonight we made 36 shots and celtic made 9. We had 11 corners and you 3. So over the 2 leg I think Milan showed they are superior although I am positively impressed by Celtic. Cheers !!

I agree it is not ideal to play Lenny and Sno together but we had little choice. Pity Hartley wasnt available cause he can attack and defend. Problem with Grav is he is a lunatic. Did you see him charging about tonight.

I don't know, Grav put a suprising amount of heart into it for someone who's only been at the club for 7 months, did you see some of his old Real tricks he pulled out?

We'll be back next year stronger than ever :50:

boruc was class as usual! sno wasnt at his best but he will learn from this gravesen should have been on instead of lennon, why did he not bring kaka' down on the halfway line he ended up getting booked anyway for mouthing off as usual. hes been a good player but the team plays better without him. theres 1 thing that stops nakamura from beeing world class and its that he doesnt play in big games away from home, im proud of the bhoys but iv said this to meany times and im only 24! we have 1 world class player and he is our goal keeper.

    you'll never walk alone :shamrock:

He played well for over an hour then started to make mistakes. He should have come off much earlier. Just shows the gap in our squad when we have to play a 19 year old who has only started a modest number of SPL games. Problem is I think we would have lost more goals if Grav had played from the start cause, although he has talent, he just does not follow the script.

This is the night all you Judas's get off Chesney's back. We did the club proud tonight. It's time Strachan got our full support and can focus all his energy into bringing in some real quality over the summer.

Couldn't be prouder right now. Even though its a defeat, it'll still go down as a night that will last in the history of the club. Terrific display.

I hope they offer Boruc a new contract btw. He earned it tonight alone!!!

Back 4 were immense. O'Dea did not look like a 19 year old, played like a mature professional, as did McManus. Naylor gave everything, solid all the time. Telfer came through for us as well.

Midfield were fantastic. Lennon and Sno, even though they had dodgy moments, can hold their heads high. Thought Jarosik had a surprisingly good game, as did Naka. All four got tired at the end, you could see that.

JVOH and McGeady played well. From the off, JVOH was shattered. But put everything into it as well.

Subs when they came gave everything as well, particularly Tommy G.

Overall, a superb evening for our Bhoys, and a brilliant learning curve for the younger ones like O'Dea, McManus, Sno, McGeady, Naylor.

Well done, Bhoys. Done us proud.
