Can his flaws be coached out of him? It is mental to think we did spend that on someone so raw but cant change it now.

 

I thought he was very good today. Absolutely got stuck in and his wee mazy run around a few players was great to see.
Just needs a wee bit more about him and I think he could be a player. Maybe this run in the team will do him good.

 

He’s getting better with each game, there is definitely a player in there. Think a loan would do him wonders since Taylor will end up starting again once he’s back.

He's rubbish. Gets caught far too often and nearly cost us today, only a great tackle from Welsh saved his blushes. Just seems to be a bit of a headless chicken.

Starting to show a bit more. Got a lot of talent going forward which is presumably what we've seen in him when scouting. Long way to go in terms of being defensively sound, if he ever will be, but starting to show something worth nurturing.

 

Give the guy a break. He's lightning quick, he can carry the ball and he's a decent crosser. Sure, he leaves a lot to be desired on defense. Lucky for us, we dominate possession in the vast majority of domestic matches.

 

His performance today and against hibs were his best two games for us. If he continues to impress and improve, there maybe hope for him yet.

 

Why would we loan him to Aberdeen when we'll no doubt be fending off interest from Barca, Real etc.

Really impressed with his character to be honest. He’s trying to take this opportunity.

He’s another one that loses the ball partly because he’s brave enough to take it in a position that will benefit the team.

He could just hug that touchline and pass it back or down the line. We’ll drop more points but he would get less stick.

 

He's absolutely * he didn't play well he just wasn't as bad as usual. He constantly gets caught out of position. Once today he skipped past 2 St Mirren players done really well then just passed it right to the defender. He makes Maeda look like Pirlo in terms of composure

Has bags of effort, energy and pace but can’t defend and has no positional sense. Kinda like defenders that can defend, that used to be a thing right?

 

I kinda mentioned this about Yang, but if we’re going to go down this route where we’re buying players that are so raw, I feel we need more coaches that can work closer with them.

 

I think he shows how good we could be with quicker fullbacks.

Yep, he's pish but unlike any of our other fullbacks he actually has some of the basic qualities ud look for in a full back, such as pace and ability to go past people and a willingness to get to bye line and get crosses in.

Think it's more that that people have been impressed with rather than him
