Probably related to contract talks with Taylor more than Valle I'd think. If Rodgers wants to keep him might be playing him to show that.

 

Gut feeling is Valle is being recalled to Barcelona in January, and that is why Taylor is back in again.

Nothing else would really logically explain it.

 

I don't know why we don't think we can upgrade on Taylor. Wouldn't be halting a better player playing over him just to get him to sign a new contract.

Taylor's been a good servant but we know his limits and have the funds to upgrade beyond the summer. Would be putting Valle in regularly based off of his performances so far. Taylor needs to know the level we want to be at and if he can't reach that level then we upgrade.

 

The rumours of him been recalled seem to be a lot of pish.. unless they want a loan whereupon he gets more game time and recall to loan him again..

With no buy option I'm ambivalent to him playing ahead of Taylor..

It's definitely a position, again we need to look at in Jan.. with a CL qualifier to play next season.

 

The camera went on Valle a few times yesterday. He didn't look too happy. Was also surprised he did not get any game time especially after he was warming up before the 1st goal.

 

If this fella isn't gonna sign permanently we would be as well recalling Anderson in January and playing him domestically with Taylor for the rest of season. Looking like we will have relatively 5 months of comfortable league football after Xmas.. send frame out to admira to replace Anderson till summer

Don't think either will be oir first choice LB next season , we will buy one in Jan or summer at latest.

 

It will probably be Taylor.

I like him. Thought we looked better on the left going forward when he was on.

 

I thought he did really well to be honest.

 

Always positive and looking for a forward pass.

 

Still can't get my head round him being dropped. Didn't deserve it after the performances he put in when GT was out injured.

Has to play starting at the weekend he is levels above Greg Taylor in every department.

 

Don’t care if Barca want him back in January or in two weeks.

He’s our best left back and should be starting every game.

 

He was excellent, they stopped going down that side and attacked Johnston after Valle came on.

There was absolutely no reason for Taylor to get his spot back straight away, Valle has been excellent for a while.

As others have said, it doesn't matter if he's going back to Barcelona in January, he's our best LB so far this season, he needs to start (and I think the rumours of him going back are bullshit either way)

 

He should start at the weekend against Ross County. Instant improvement when he came on.

 

Should never have been dropped. But Taylor will be back in soon enough I bet.
