    First of all, I accept that it is wrong - ecumenically, philosophically, morally, grammatically and biologically - for girls to play football but...

    I've been asked, by the pupils themselves it should be said, to coach the sixth form (ie. 17-18 year old) GIRLS footy team in the school I teach in.

    I'm flattered, but it might mean me giving up my year 8 lads for the season. On the other hand, well, do I have to explain the perks?

    You guys are all stand up, moral and honest - what do I do?

    The way I see it, the lads will still be there next year. If you don't teach the girls in what could be there last chance to learn from your great football knowledge and tactical expertise, then you will be letting the whole nation of future ladies internationals down. The lads can wait, go train with the girlies.I'm serious, they need U! Lol

    TRUST me stick with the lads i work with two groups of teenage girls and there a * nightmare.

    Males working with girls without another female present is also leaving the male at high risk.

    I hope you have some child protection training cos 17 year olds are considerd as children in Ireland.

    If your 16 years old and had 'intimate relations' with a 15 year old you get put on the * offenders register. The whole system is quite harsh.

    Lol there should always be a leniancy if you're less than 2 years older than the girl 14/15 year old girl that got pumped lol, as long as it was consential of course, guys that are 18 and over sleeping with underage girls should be punished though.

    it might be consential but it's still illegal so therefore your breaking the law.

    the onus is on the older person providing there over 17 (thats in Eire)

    Must say when I was 17 I slept with this girl in my town that said she had just turned 16, later I found out from a guy i knew she was only 15 and a half, no-one cared cause she was a lyin boot, lol I was shittin it at first but if anythin had happened to me it would've her fault.
