Under contract until 2026 with Le Havre, Étienne Youté could soon leave the dean club. The 23-year-old central defender arouses covetous from several European teams. Arrived in Normandy in January 2023, the slender player won his place as a starter from November of the same year. After a successful first year in Ligue 1, the former Inter Milan and Olympiakos is coming out of a more difficult season on a personal level, which has not curbed the ardor of several courtiers.



The Belgians of Anderlecht, the Turks of Besiktas and the Scots of Celtic Glasgow are looking markedly at this defender to be polished. Two German clubs and two Championship teams including Burnley, an information revealed by Fabrizio Romano that we are able to confirm, are also interested.


Another big British club would be in the ranks. Last summer, Youté had refused at the last moment to join Hoffenheim, which then offered 7 million euros to secure its services. Don't know how credible the link is but he looks as suited to us as possible for that reported fee of 4 and a mill..

Aye. I was watching De Haas last night and wanting to like it and almost looking for the positives, despite being a bit meh when looking at him..

This one here was almost instantly like yep, he'll 100% do. One of the better centre half reels I've watched. Was very impressed..

Just imagining him in a back 4 of KT, Carter-Vickers and AJ and can easily see it. Looks like him and Carter-Vickers would compliment each other's styles..

 

Definitely prefer him to to De Haas purely based on the clips posted. He looks the part and doesn't seem panicky or rash..a wee bit like Ajer I thought.

 

I was happy enough with De Haas but would be delighted with this boy.

We're far more attractive outfit than Anderlecht currently and I think, despite the money they can offer, we'd be more attractive than Besiktas too, hopefully something in this, it's a good source.

He is slower than De Haas on fifa though

This guy looks just the part for us.

Big 6'5', aggressive and gets around the park well, black and French. Ticks all the boxes for me too.
Valued at £5M. We paid £6M for Trusty.

Would it be wrong to say he would be an upgrade on De Haas already ?.

 

A lot of competition to get him, we need to move now if we do want him in.

 

He looks quality
