What would the England team be like without Rooney?

Who else has the passion and creative play?

And as for looks...well we know Coleen isn't going out with him for them!!!

 

Lampard is the only other player in the England team I think has what it takes to be called Englands best player. However, as for Rooney being the best in the world....not a chance. Don't need to look any further than Ronaldinho.

He is possibly one of the most effective players in the world: surely we can all agree on that. He usually does it in the big games, and thats a must for a topn player. Remeber bhoys hes only 19 and by the time hes 25-29, how good a player is he going to be?

 

im not saying hes * or anything he is amazing player for his age and * knows what he will be like in about 10 years time but you forget one thing he could get a terrible injury problem that could end his career , but hope that does not happen , but all im saying is he will never ever be the same player ronaldinho is ronaldinho is with out a doubt the best player the world has ever seen IMO the best Brasilian player ever forget Pele , Ronaldo , Ronniedinho Is the Main Man

 

As a long time Michael Owen fan I have always tried to find faults with Rooney. But I can't. The fact is that he is a world class player. His passing, shooting, vision, flair and aggression are all very strong. People who dislike him but worship the likes of Roy Keane and our very own Neil Lennon (ghod) are 'king hypocrites. The only thing Wayne hasn't got is the looks. But hey, when you're after 50 yr old prostitutes - who needs them !?

As for comments that England are overrated - I think we have shown enough in games recently that, if we play to our ability, we are one of the top 3 sides in the world. Nobody can match the strength and quality of our squad, though I do admit Argentina and Brazil have the odd extraordinary talent.

As for Scotland, well, they can't even beat Argentina at rugby let alone football. Time to grow out of the Engalnd hating children.
