    Look at the quality of players we'll have in the squad;

    Gerard
    Lampard
    Rooney
    Owen
    Terry
    Cole
    Robinson...etc

    But please don't include Ferdinand in that squad...

    i totally agree the players are immense but that dummy in charge is taking them nowhere.

    not trying to wind you up, but knock 5mins off that argentina game and it would have been total gloom and doom.

    Wayne Rooney is a good player but heavily over-rated.
    Put it this way... if Shay Given was english, he'd be "the best keeper in the world" but since he's not he's just your average good keeper. I think Given is one of the top 5 best keepers in the world. No idea where Newcastle would be without him.

    England have no chance of winning the world cup this year.

    Since Scotland are out, I hope Czech win it, I like their team. I think Brazil will win it again though

    England do have a good chance although I hate to admit it. I'm praying that Trinidad and Tobago can go a bit further than Korea 3 years ago.

    Your spot on there mate, the simple fact is EVERY player in the england squad is overated. Too many people just read the hype written in the papers about some players and believe it hands down. Eg John Terry - best centre back in the world or Bobo Balde II. Ashley Cole - how can he be the best left back in the world when he isnt even fit to lace the boots of someone like Gabriel Hienze? Rooney - best player EVER or Shreks uglier, less talented cousin? There an average team no better than the likes of Sweden and Poland but their fans will go on believing the media hype until they come back down to earth sometime in July 2006. Dont worry though it wont be long till they put us all through it again, and again, again............
