As Murphy mentioned players like Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney etc are more than talented enough to make any squad a threat and a daunting prospect to face whichever team you are. In all honesty I think they're going to be hanging around until about the quarter to semi finals mark. Rooney keeping the place could play a big factor in how much they progress, although give him credit he done well against Argentina and we all know how much of a grudge match that can be.

After Saturday's performance we have a VERY good chance of winning the cup.

You are seriously having a laugh. Holland are a good side (along with Brazil, Italy, Argies and England they are the only contenders) but France (has beens), Portugal (never have beens), Spain (never will be) and Poland (now you're just being silly)? Argentina vs Engalnd is never a friendly. Both sides were full strength for the whole match and the way the players and the crowd reacted showed what the game meant to evryone.

England are a very strong side at the moment - just deal with it.
