I liked Bellamy when he was at us and i've always wanted him to come back. However Is He really worth 7 million and the wages he wants?

A great player, but he's a bit of an arrogant mercenary and a disruptive influence. If he signed I wouldn't complain though!

A very good player whom I would be delighted to see back at Celtic. But considering he is constantly injured no way would I want to pay any significant money for him and if he won't fit into our wage strucrture again he is too injury prone to be the type of player to push the boat out for.

Because most folk don't think it through. He would not be a good signing.

50,000 a week is 7,500,000 over three years..alot of money for a great goal scorer with a poor attitude and big gob.

The Bellamy thing is not going to happen so it's futile even debating it. He's currently on between £60,000 and £70,000 a week at West Ham so I'm sure no-one needs me to tell them that Celtic won't touch that wage bill with a bargepole! Maybe 5 years ago they would have pushed the boat out but not now. End of. HAIL HAIL

a fantastic quote davie i agree 100% with you,he doesnt give a * what club he goes to as long as they pay him the scandoulas wages he wants.
the * has shown the club and our fans major disrespect big time and i dont like it at all.
this is why football is getting too pricey nowadays cos of greedy punk * players like him.....wee *:47:

He can earn double down south what he could here and that's before you take into account we wouldn't pay £7 million for him in the first place. He's being realistic.

He loves our club, the interview with Sky Sports confirmed that.

He does love the money and he does love a wind up but we simply cannot afford him, he told no word of a lie.

He's friendly with Peter Lawell as well and he has admitted he'd love to play for Celtic again one day it just isn't possible.

To be honest the guy is just stating facts, however look how much the papers seem to twist what he said. He actually stated that he loves the club and the only place this can be seen is on sky sports who did the interview.

If it was a player of his quality saying they even had the slghtest interest in rangers then it would be front and backpage news on every red top gutter press in the west of Scotland.
