What in your opinions is the reason for the crap gates at celtic park? is it boredom? is it cost per game as a season ticket holder for 11 years i cant understand the number of people who dont bother to turn up everyweek or leave with ten mins to go. faithfull through and through as the song goes. also if we got even half the atmosphere at league games that we get fo CL games then it would be very intimidating for most teams to come there so come on guys lets lift it up a notch and support the team 100% :shamrock:

i thought that the atmosphere at the hearts game last week was the best atmosphere at celtic park (outside a european and old firm) in quite a while even though it was quite negative lol

Who knows it could be that or it could be due to all this financial problems that are going on could be any number of reasons tbh.

Price first and foremost for me. I live in Hamilton but £26 a game? If they set it to a flat £20 or even halfed it then I would be there in a shot. Bills come first though sadly.

It was money for me missing a couple of games there, missed my final season book installment and card got stopped till I paid it. Sorted now though.

A lot of folk are * off with the football though, they have season books but just stay away.

Inverness Caley and St Mirren aren't particularly exciting off the back of Man United or Barcelona.

Fans are now spoiled and it's been this way since O'Neill has us in the Champions League years ago.

If we were to lose the championship this year then you would see the attendances soar next year. A lot of it is down to complacency.

Spot on point as well; expectancy, complacency, routine all contribute.

I think a lot of people prefer the chase rather than the catch. I miss full houses and good atmospheres, the football isnt good enough and dosent deserve 60,000 watching it

its 100% down to the product on view. The standard and quality of our football is shocking and does not make for enjoyable viewing. The hearts attendance will be the biggest of the season. expect below 30 000 when they replace mcgeady to be the norm.

Without being funny mate, you've came onto this forum and spouted nothing but nonsense with absolutely no facts to back up your shoddy claims.

It is not 100% down to anything, there are several factors and yes yours might be one of them for a lot of people but it is not the sole reason.

Like I've said, I was a season ticket holder throughout the O'Neill years as well and it all began when we were in the Champions League and people could not arouse themselves with a run of the mill SPL match. That is a fact.
