No spending £3M+ is spending money no matter what way you look at it, whether it's spending the amount you want invested in the team is a different story.

id like to see us signing a striker with a bit of presence up front because JVOH always seems afraid to head the ball, except against the big teams of course
id also sign a CB as i dont think mcmanus is all that clever
also a good defensive midfielder who can like take the sting out of a game when we're 2 or 3 goals up
    plus a left back
but we'll probably not spend big until the summer

A lot players we have are not good enough as I've been saying for months now. WGS has done a magnificent job with little money but can't keep winning every game with average players. Over the next year, we need 4 or 5 quality players imo and at least 2 at the transfer window. I don't mean SPL types either.

I'd like to get Bobby Zamora, can't see him costing that much & he's really powerful - just what we don't have.

    PS in January.

I current squad is strong enough to win the SPL...no doubt about it. Therefore I think it is not neccessary that we spend. Ok we would like a new left back but truth is Naylor and Wilson are good enough for the SPL. I think once we get our best 11 back to full fitness then we will be alright. That means Jan and Sam back up front, with Crosas back too.

Squad not strong enough as strikers not looking look scoring enough goals compared to the opposition, need players that can keep ball and see game out. Id try get bellamy or hesky

Totally disagree :38: whats a 4-5 point lead going into the new year? Naffin whatsoever, like we seen on saturday that could very easily change, we need to buy players now, both in january and in the summer if we have abit more money. Theres alota areas we need improvement in, not just the left back area.

    .
IF we can keep a good gap into the new year (Hibs 2moro will maybe decide that) then cant see any point in upsetting the squad.
absolute nonsense.

That money is additional to normal revenue and in the words of the Chief Executive

"We do not plan for CL revenue, any CL momey is surplus to our financial plans"

But hey, don't let the chance of having a pop get in the way of a FACT :50:
