This has been a turbulent week for Celtic. But it's exactly this kind of week that makes me proud to be a Celtic fan and proves to me how much I love the club. When we have a disaster like we did on Tuesday and then the media stick the boot into us and all my Rangers supporting friends queue up to laugh at my team it just makes me love Celtic all the more! I haven't supported Celtic all of my 33 years on this earth but I just love them so much! When you walk into Paradise and walk up the stairs and see the pitch in front of you and 60,000 other Celts sitting there it makes my heart feel like it's going to burst out of my chest. I feel so proud and so lucky to be a Celtic fan and to be part of the whole Celtic experience. I truly believe that supporters of other clubs love their team but they will never understand the amazing feeling that it is to be a Celtic fan and to be a part of the 'Celtic family'. I can honestly say that I think about Celtic every single day of my life and I just live for their matches to come around..even when we lose I don't care I just love to see them or watch them. Like the song says 'we don't care if we win lose or draw' it is just a fantastic feeling to be a Celtic fan! Celtic is equally as important to me as my mum, dad or any member of my family.....some people think that's a terrible thing to say but that's how I feel. Whenever things go wrong in my life I always know that I have one constant that will never leave me and that is my love for Celtic. Women are great but they come and go...Celtic never leaves your heart...they are always there and they hold a place in my heart that can NEVER be replaced.

That is my story...that is how much I love the Hoops. I don't want this thread to turn into a contest...it's not about that........I would love to hear from all you fellow Celts what Celtic means to you and how you feel about the club.

    On you go............ HAIL HAIL

True! When you walk through the gates at Parkhead, you feel so much energy there.. 60,000 people in one place.. so much love there for the team.

That's why I love Celtic, even I didn't support them all of my life :50:

Celtic for me is like one big long love story.

From going with ma da to see the Centenary year title being presented,
to doubling up at rugby park and tannadice,
to stopping 10 when it was a must,
to watching the Uefa Cup Final in my jail cell,
to my mum n da's weddin in Celtic Park wearing hoops,
to making banners for the champions league
to saying farewell to all our hero's who have passed
to remembering the legends in story and song
to standing in the Nou camp freezing ma nuts aff
to beating Europes best on those special home nights
to 3 in a row for tommy and the charge now for 4
to struggling through no matter what
to wear my colours proudly everywhere I go
Celtic's my love, and I've got to say its been emotional :shamrock:

It's good to read that people feel so strongly about the club and regard the club as such an important part of their life. For me supporting Celtic is much more than just following a football team, it says something about who you are, what you believe in and what you stand for in life. Just a football team? Never. HAIL HAIL
