He purposely paid an extra £140 to sit at the back so he could stand and explained this. "i moved there from 112 and told the ticket office i wanted the back row so i wouldnt be bothering any 1 for standing this put my book up by 140 quid"

they should have informed him there and then that standing wasn't acceptable in any part of the ground. Which is utter bs in my eyes.

The * would probably have asked the guy to produce a medical certificate.

The last couppla years I have been gradually going to less home games. Its not the same enjoyment at all.

right i think its about time to create a * petition or something against the stewerding at parkhead. On wednesday night the guy refused to let me into the stadium with my student season ticket. ( didnt have any i.d on me saying i was a student) i showed the guy my drivers liscence which had my name and d.o.b on it which shows im 18! the guy was still like no cant get in unless you can prove u r a student. then i was like right we will walk round to the ticket office and match all the info to whats held on the system, he was going to do it until one of the supervisors told him to let me in. then when in the stadium i walk out of my section 140 into section 139 to speak to a guy i know n this steward was like no u cant come in here its not where ur seat is. needless to say i walked on but ffs man its getting beyond a joke.

HOW ABOUT THIS FOR AN IDEA, SELF STEWERDING GET FANS TO WATCH OVER THE FANS???

MAC, I think you should go to the papers and tell them about the hun polis...tell how HUNS treated you cos you were a Celt...and shame those *

Maybe leave out the Parkhead steward part...cos again...we already have got enoguh negative press over this.
But maybe if u remember who it is, gather a few guys and give him a good beating. Jusk Joking :) The bloke is damm lucky we are not HUNS. Else he probably would have got stabbed by those junkies in Ibrox (a.k.a. the shithole)

You should write to Celtic officially,
    setting out your case.

Also write a letter of complaint to Strathclyde Police. (did you plead guilty in the morning ?? You said you had been charged. Have you already appearred in Court.

In the letter to Celtic, state you will send a copy of the letter to the Record, Sun, Herald, BBC and STV, as well as your local MP, if you do nor recive a written response within 7 days of date of your letter.

BTW, you MUST send the letters RECORDED DELIVERY.

That's madness, it's not like the parkhead wall behind you was missing any of the game! Nah, but in all fairness, it seems like the police are all too quick to arrest someone... so yeah, perhaps like what everyone else is saying, you should go to Celtic officially and take your complaint there.

All Celtic's going to say is, you should have done what the stewards/police told you to do, for safety reasons.

This might sounds stupid coming from a fan who only occassionally gets to games, but this kind of thing is driving the real supporters out of the club. Big money football is eventually going to collapse in on itself. Roy Keane was correct in identifying the "prawn sandwich brigade" as pulling the heart out of the game. These * hooray henrys like to experience the atmosphere, but don't contribute anything to it. They strangle the life out of the support with their complaining, which leads to new legislation, prohibiting free expression. Eventually Parkhead will end up like a * mortuary and the leeches who have hung on to the periphery of the club, pretending to be "into" football, will drift away, leaving it a penniless plc, churning out "Oirish" tat, in the hope of catching passing tourist trade and overseas support. Shower of * shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the game.
