    'Most Haunted' depresses me the most , it depresses me that its allowed on tv filling naive * heads with ghosts and ghouls!!!! ooooooooooooh scary ones!!!! bollocks

    Any soap opera falls into that catagory for me. They're all a load of old mind numbing *.

    Don't mind Ronnie from eastenders though...

    Honestly, the news just makes me numb sometimes, not depressed.

    I can't say that it's depressing because at least it tries to be factual and keeps you grounded in reality. I try to be focused and work on problems when the news is on and do not find myself depressed. :50:

    But when gouching in front of Eastenders, you end up stuck in a freaky psuedo-reality bubble, filled with all these bizarre muppet/spitting image-esque characters with exagerated features (Peggy Mitchell, Phil, Mo, Pauline, Ian, etc) that seem to constantly feed off each other's misery, just to create even more misery.

    I was watching it one night, when it dawned on me (a rare moment of clarity :icon_mrgreen:) that depression was just dripping like soaking wet clothes off everybody in the room, just sitting there staring, watching and lolling mindlessly to that *.

    It's very depressing and I think anybody would be very hard pushed to find a more depressing show than that. :87:

    I get depressed when I see these channel five shows that features people with severe abnormalities. I mean, it makes you count your blessings and stuff, but sometimes it is really heart wrenching viewing.

    Although, I did find the Mitchell and Webb *-takes of channel five for those kind of shows quite funny.
