    I hope he makes a good few changes and sticks on a few hungry fringe players like Hutchinson and O'Dea.

    I think we will take alot from wednesdays performance, motherwell always give us a good game been looking alot better recently so it will be tough but i think we can win this 2-0.

    I reckon that we'll be tired but will still get the win unless Motherwell have a really good game.

    mccourt should play for more than about 2 minutes to show us how good he really is
    sheridan done decent midweek so stick with him .... play naka and stick brown i goals and put hartley and brown in middle

    This will be a tight match.You can't underestimate the draining effect a night like Wednesday has on a player mentally and physically.Trouble is;with all the injuries we have right now we can't really freshen the team up without taking risks on totally unproven players.Team I would go with is:

    ---------------------------------Boruc--------------------------------

    ---Hinkel---------------Caldwell---------McManus--------------Naylor-

    ---Nakamura------------Brown-----------Donati----------------Maloney-

    -----------------------McDonald-------Sheridan-----------------------


    Would put Naylor back in because I doubt Wilson's knee can put up with 3 games in a week.
    Bringing Naka back into the side is a no-brainer.

    Tough choice between Donati or Robson for the CM berth alongside Brown but I would give Donati the nod because Robson played on Wednesday.Donati is here for the next two months at least so we might as well use him.He might also add a bit more defensive shape to the team than a Brown-Robson partnership.Hartley doesn't even come into the equation because he can hardly play one game a week without looking exhausted.

    It would be tempting to maybe go with McCourt on the left wing or shift Naka onto the left with Mizuno[who was our best player in the Reserve match against Man Utd playing as a striker] or Caddis coming in on the right wing but I think it's too big a risk so I'd stick with Maloney although he's probably still tired.

    Speaking of tired players Sheridan must be * knackered by now.I doubt he's ever played 4 games in a row at Reserve level so playing 4 games in a row in the intensity and pace of the first team in games such as Hearts away and Manchester United in the CL msut have him blowing out of his *!

    Would take a scrappy 1-0 tomorrow.
