TC MOTM- Celtic vs Manchester United

Wilson for me, his best game in a Celtic shirt IMO.

 

McManus for me he was everywhere but everyone did it tonight.

 

The whole team played very well tonight, albeit defensively. Best performance from Wilson I've ever seen. I'm happy.

 

mcmanus for me i thought he was solid and didn't mind putting his head in were it would get hurt

 

im not a man who in the last few seasons that says celtic done well but tonight the defence showed real quality but in the end united were a far superior team and it showed this is why they are european champions but we done well done and fantastic support from the fans from start to finish excellent

 

manure played crossy fitba for half an hour but mcmanus won every header so he gets my vote

 

So many outstanding performances, Big Mick was my MOTM tho!

 

McDonald for me, Worked his * off all night.

 

Think the whole squad worked there arses off tonight and showed we were up for a fight.. unfortunately they couldn't hold it off and Man u got a well deserved goal.. the players who stuck out most to me were Brown, McDonald and Wilson

Brown gets my vote on this one

 

Mark Wilson, Scott McDonald and Scott Brown were extra special in a special team performance

 

Brown. Man-u coldn't handle him most of the night.

 

I thought everbody was great tonight. I picked Brown but was close to picking Hinkel or Wilson , they were very good

 

McManus... all of the corners and crosses that came in, it was his head that always got on the end of it

thats a bit selfish of celtic ,sitting there when the cameraman is trying to take pics of the mountains,,im gonny complain

I thought the whole defense was fantastic (wilson looked back to his best) and to be honest I thought that each and everyone one of them did well but wee Brooney was the star for me

 

It would be so easy to vote for Brown as he's the form player and continued that last night, but i thought big Mick McManus was superb. I believe we will start to see more and more of the player that earned the Celtic captaincy and mainstay of the Scotland squad off the back of this performance.

I've got to mention Hinkel aswell mind you, best performance in the Hoops by a country mile.

 

The defence was brilliant. Big Mick and GC were great. Brown played excellent. Picked him as MOTM.

Also, if you have a look at the game again, in the 2nd half when there is a big scramble of bodies in the Celtic box with about 3 blocks from Wilson Mick n GC. When the last block is made it looked like Boruc made it at first, but GC dives and gets it with his elbow!! Great defending if you can get away with it!!
