    From Sunday Mail:

Think they underestimate Fortress Parkhead .. Bring them * on!!

Odds are stacking up for Celtic

Nov 2 2008 By Gavin Berry
BOOKIES are dismissing Celtic's stunning home Euro record by offering the Hoops at their longest odds EVER - 9/2 - to win a Champions League match at Parkhead.
The SPL champions have turned their own patch into something of a fortress with only one team ever winning in the east end of Glasgow in Europe's top club competition.
Manchester United enjoyed a comfortable win over Gordon Strachan'smen at Old Trafford last month and Celtic now have mounting injury problems.
And all that has convinced bookmakers that Sir Alex Ferguson's men can become the second club to win at Parkhead on Champions League duty.
Only Barcelona have succeeded - on two occasions - where the likes of then-reigning Euro champs AC Milan, Juventus, Bayern Munich and even United themselves have failed.
The English Premiership giants cantered to a 3-0 win when the sides met in Manchester 12 days ago and that has set the tone for Wednesday's return showdown.
Shunsuke Nakamura scored the winner for Celtic the last time United were at Parkhead but it's widely accepted Fergie's side are now vastly improved.
And Irish bookmakers Paddy Power are so convinced of United's superiority they are offering an incredible standout 9/2 price for Strachan's men to repeat their thrilling win of two years ago.
Punt Never before have the firm gone as big for Celtic to win at home in the Champions League with the previous longest price being 7-2 against Barca in last season's last-16 tie.
Spokesman Paddy Power said: "This is the biggest we've gone for a Celtic home win in the Champions League.
"And there can't be a lot of confidence out there because we've not taken a bean on them yet although that could change if they play well at Hearts.
"AC Milan and Barcelona have gone to Parkhead and been favourites to win but Celtic have never been as big as 9/2 and that's because United are a different kettle of fish.
"Not only are they champions of Europe and England but this Celtic team isn't as strong as in the last few years and they've picked up quite a few injuries."
The firm now hope they don't get their fingers burned as they expect the huge number of Celtic fans in Ireland to have a punt on Strachan's side with such a big price on offer.
Paddy Power laughed: "I just hope they don't pull it off now!
"Celtic are so well supported in Ireland and with such a big price we expect money on a home win in the coming days."

I wouldn't bet against us at Parkhead if I was a Celtic fan or otherwise.

I'd take a draw. Definitely. You'd be a fool not to.

Uefa Cup is now the priority.

Wednesday will tell us what the priority is. If we beat Man United we're more than capable of winning the next 2 which leaves us on 10 points, that could be enough to put us in the top 2.

Huge, huge ask for a team yet to score a goal in the competition but not totally outwith the realms of possibility.

I'd think Strachan would take a draw beforehand as well.

If his press conferences stating he wants to get to the last 8 are anything to go by i'd suggest otherwise.
