Does Strachan love celtic?

Do half the * team who played the other night love the team the way we do...i sometimes doubt it!!!

ffs who gives a rats * if he loves celtic or not!
he is paid to do a job here .he likes celtic he has stated that severell times in the past.he does the job to the best of his ability and if he gets decent money can take us forward another step.
so its pointless asking that question i dont care if he does or not thats up to him.
it wont make a differance anyway

 

He loves his job but not celtic.
Its the best job hes had so far and he seems to get along with the board. they gave him a chance to actually do something in management and hes doing his best to repay them.
Thats enough for me.

 

I dont think he loves Celtic as a fan, in fact I am sure he doesnt.

I am not sure if there is an angle to this thread regarding Strachan being a Celtic man, but as long as he is doing a good job, and he is, I really dont mind. *, Kenny Dalgliesh was a Rangers supporter, and we all idolised him.

 

i think he has learned to love the club through the high,s and low,s of his time as manager but does it really matter as long as we keep winning

 

To many people get blinded by THE LOVE OF CELTIC,every one in life has the right to like or dislike or not even care one little bit about celtic.Does that make them wrong..? I for one dont care a hairy rats * what wgs thinks about our club so long as while he is in charge he works hard and does his very best to improve our overall standing in the football world.When you spend enough time in a place like celtic park it grows on you week by week so i would say he is more in tune with celtic than before,will he be here for life cause he never ever wants to leave...i doubt it.
He will work his socks off to win things cause no one in life likes to fail at what they do, he will never be a tommy burns he will only ever be a gordon strachan but thats not a bad thing.

 

Here is my view. Upon originally coming to Celtic of course not. Strachan did not give it hoot about Celtic, but he probaly did care about keeping his job and football is results driven bussiness and that is his job.

But now after winning 3 in a row and the death of Tommy Burns showed him how great a club he is at. I think he cares for celtic would not says he loves Celtic but he definetly cares

 

To a lot of people, the death of TB was a turning point on there view of Gordon Strachan. I was actually concerned, slightly, that WGS would try his usual upbeat responses to try and sort of lighten the mood.

Little did I, or we as a support, realise how close he had come to Tommy, and how much he regarded him as a friend as well as a colleague. It saddended me greatly, but also made me feel proud to be a Celtic fan, and proud to support Strachan as Celtic manager.

 

even in his death tommy burns brought wgs and the fans closer together.....RIP.

I believe he was a hibs fan when he was growing up ,maybe he still is and rightly so ,normally people dont change teams ,so he might not love celtic as in the fan side of it ,but he has great affection for celtic , but i would say he loves his job .

 

I agree entirely, but as for loving Celtic, i still think that's an entirely differing question, and surely a different answer too. It's nothing against the guy at all - not even a factor for me, as it's just not significant personally - it's just a question that i think has one answer and is being read into far too deeply than just accepting he does not love the club as much as you or i.

I like Strachan and he is doing a decent job at celtic, but in his pre- manu interview, was asked about feelings to man u and he said none, that once he finishes he packs his bags and concentrates on his next job, which implies that once he leaves celtic that's it not bothered any more, yes he is honest but he's still too much of a sarcky *.

 

well the last manager who was a celtic fan was TB so i suppose he loves them as much as anyone since

 

there's love there, but not like how we love celtic. More... a manager's love if there is such a thing.

 

I think he doies love the club you dont need to grow up a fan to grow to love it . I cant believe all the dissenters sheesh what more can he do ? win EVERY game? play like brazil ? lets get real guys he has done a great job and i hope he continues to . Ok so not all his transfers have ben a stunning success but whos are ? mon signed plenty of " squad " players who never played much and he had 6 mill players as first choices and henke so credit where credits due

 

He could build the greatest every celtic team and win everything out there and people would still not be happy, oh we dont like his shoes or some * thing.
When he his gone they will only then see how good he is.
