well thats obvious, but i still wouldnt say he cost us the league.. he used celtic as a window, 2 show off his skills, and look at him now: injured, a fat lot of gd he'd b doin 4 us now. give me Magic and Naka any day!!! im glad bellers came 2 us, but now, after seeing that he wouldnt have played for the jearsy am glad he didnt stay, it would have been wrong for him! :celt_2:

Wrong again he was signed on August the 1st 2001 he's was 2nd top scorer for Celtic for more than 3 years and now Larsson's away he's the biggest scorer Celtic have, give the guy a break he's had a great start to the season. Some people on here have no loyalty Big Hartson's already scored some vital goals this season already. I suggest you get your statistics right if your gonna start slating Celtic players, that's two mistakes you've made Lenny lol silly boy. Lenny oot The Simpson's could talk more sense about Celtic.

there was nothin wrong with the treatment Hartson received. He got booed, big deal. shota arveladze received the same when georgia played in dublin, its what happens. the behaviour o the NI fans when the welsh anthem was playing was totally uncalled for though.

Thats right celtic-man Bellamy did betray us a few off my m8s work at C.P but i think we will leave that like that!:shamrock: :shamrock: :shamrock: :shamrock:

First season - 3rd choice striker behind Sutton/Larsson, had to bide his time, when he started to play regular (Sutton dropping back mid season) we where well clear.
Second Season - Played regular all year.
Third Season - Out for the majority of season with injured back. Did I imagine this.
Last Season - Played regular all season.

These are the facts whether you like it or not. My loyalty is to the club not to individual players.
I will agree with one thing, he does need a break.
Rather than watching cartoons you should study more football e.g team formations, what tactics best suit individual players and what tactics don't, what players contribute throughout the course of a game, movement, positioning, defensive contribution, contribution in build up to attacks.
This is how I form my impressions of players, and make fair and balanced assesments.
I get the impression yours are formed by what your told to think in the Record or such like.

I don't read the Record, Hartson has scored twice as many goals for Celtic as Sutton so was nobody's third choice striker, I have a Season Ticket in Investors and attend most away games so I probably see more of Celtic than you to judge Hartson, I certainly don't boo Celtic players Lenny and Hartson was signed in 2001 not 2002. You're the wrongest person I've ever witnessed in a debate, congratulations.

Are you a politican? 2002 as in the season ending that year. Play with words which ever way you please but it is still 4 full seasons. 2 Leagues Won, 2 lost.

If you care to check in his first season up until Christmas he made mostly substitute appearances, started some games when Sutton was forced to play centre back or rested for europe (i.e third choice). First Celtic goals in late October (20th), 3 months, and then we waited until early December for his next (good indication of 3rd choice).

After this MON changed tactic and put Sutton in midfield with Larsson/Hartson up front by which time we were streets ahead.

My personal opinion is that this was a mistake as it slowed the fluidity of the midfield and general play resulting in more long ball tactics than before. We continued with this tactic the following year and lost the league. Played similarily last year with the same fate, (I'll call it 2005, you can refer to it as 2004)

I will refrein from making personal insults but these are my beliefs and I stand by them.

P.S I go away too. Just because you go doesn't mean you understand

PPS Just found out you are Sparky, front runner for Numpty of the year, go away.

Go away lol everything you right on this site is cynical mate so people like you can go away, you're always attacking someone and disagreeing with someone else just for for the sake of it and making up silly half-baked stats to back-up the * you spout. August 2001 is nowhere near 2OO2, just admit you're wrong and stop acting the goat.

I take you now agree he didn't really play much of season 2003/4, and he did start as third choice for much 2001/2. You can twist the signing date however you like (1st season, 4yrs ago).
I don't disagree for the sake of it, I disagree because I have alternative view point which is the reason for this forum on which on occassions some of my fellow posters have commended me.
I maybe cynical Sparky but I am not fore runner for "numpty of the year" on this site, I also have not been banned and come back under an alias.

As Sparky and now as CelticMan you have been known to remind us of your investment, so I'm putting 2+2 together here as Mr Desmond conducts himself in a similar fashion.
