Just wanted to know peoples perspectives on this republican magazine,do you buy it because it's a good read?

or because you want to 'suppot the cause'
or simply refuse to buy it because its political or just crap?

Bought it for the 1st time after the aberdeen game as it had a free cd of rebel songs & mainly out of curiosity, but to be honest after the 1st story about an african freedom fighter that was quite interesting the rest of the magazine was pointless, all the words of the cd's songs! fair enough if it was 60 pages long but in a 31 page magazine of which 21 are song sheets & adverts i personally think its a waste of money

    you?

We love you, we love you....
I know Eddie who interviewed the lad, great bloke and I also thought it was an interesting read.

It's not usually like that, you got a special edition as it was brought out to coincide with the CD release. And incidentally, how can you call it a waste of money when you got a free CD with it?! Some people....

well i didn't no it had a cd until i'd bought it actually, but besides that i stick with what i originally thought,& that was that it was a weak publication, but fairs fair if you say it's not usually like that i'll try again next time

Bought it for the first time after being told how great it was.

It was brilliant and for it to be called weak if think your totally wrong its usually £2 but it was £3 cause of the CD.

fair play your opinion, like i said a 31 page mag with 21 pages of adverts and song lyrics is not the best read in the world on a 4 hour trip home, but like i say its all about opinions

it wasn't just lyrics,it had the background to the song, was all based on the rebel CD, it was telling you the story behind the song who wrote and there motives.
