    It’ll be an interesting window. The only way the board can fully commit to the “Brendan sabotaged everything” line is to invest significantly (and successfully) in the January window.

    That said, the worst thing we could do is throw money at the window without the proper structure in place to make the most of it.

    I'd have a bit more faith than normal (which is already < 10%) if it was the summer window and we had more time.

    But January windows are notoriously * for us at the best of times. With clubs knowing we have an injury crisis and the fact we are cash rich, can see this being tough. But it's an absolute must to get 4 or 5 players in. Minimum.

    When yiu also add in that Tounekti and Balikwisha are away for AFCON it really does make for grim reading. Hence why im hesitant about chucking a new manager into this * show mid way through a season.

    i wouldnt put it past the * to not have a manager in place so they have an excuse not to spend yet another time

    If we don’t get a manager or it is a poor appointment, then I am
    expecting a mad scatter gun approach to this window. I can see us making signings but how sensible they are I am not that confident of at all.

    Hence, my main hope is we appoint a manager that has a few players from their local market or on his old clubs scouting list in mind to bring with them.
