Player Suggestions

Can’t disagree with the lack of track record of Brazilians doing well. This guy looks a good prospect, by the looks of it he has spent most of his life in Portugal so maybe not the same challenges as someone coming straight from South America.

He has all the tools to be a good striker, around 6ft, good with the ball at his feet and happy to take players on, has scored with both feet and head. He can also link the play well. He is one of those players that if he moves to a Braga or one of the bigger teams in Portugal or middling clubs in France it then he ends up out our reach.

He is also good off the ball too in terms of duels won and possessions in final third won.

 

For right back cover and actually someone that can play anywhere up the right side of the pitch we could do worse than sign Herman Johannson from Swedish champs Mjallby.

He largely has played right wing back for them. He’s about 6’3 and has good pace, is 28 and last season provided 7 goals and 8 assists from that position. His numbers for the two seasons before that are also strong. He has both good offensive and defensive numbers for dribbles, crosses, chances created duels won, aerial duels won.

He also only has a year left on his deal so would likely be available for under £2m and be a much more able deputy to AJ when he’s fit.

I also think we should look at two of his team mates Elliot Stroud and left sided similar player and Abdoullie Manneh a talented young forward.

 

Was watching that Stroud last week. Impressive numbers..

A left back/wingback we should be all over is Arsene Kouassi. Young. Rapid. Skillful attacking. Aggressive. Good delivery. Overlaps and goes by his man with ease..

 

I know he is playing in Ligue 1 now but was ligue 2 before that. I think that’s a league we should target as there is a lot of talent there and they give young players a chance to play.
