I suspect he wanted a move in the summer and it didn't materialise, either due to us not having a replacement lined up or bcoz teams in the leagues he wants to move to are not interested in someone who turns up once a month. Either way he looks like he's took the huff about still being here.
Hopefully we get shot of him in January but no chance it will be level of move he wants or for kind of money we would want. Just cut out losses before he completely stinks the place out

 

Think he's stayed one season too many with us tbh and it's showing on the pitch but he's been a very good signing for us overall imo.

Biggest surprise from him tonight was that penalty hitting the net

 

If that penalty meant anything it was going past the post.

 

The quality he has is not rivalled in our midfield and he showed plenty of it there today but the intensity has completely gone out of his game.

He's not pressing for the ball, I've lost count of the number of times he gets caught flat on his feet and falls over when there is a ball played a foot or so away from him that was never the case years back.

I think it's either a case of him minding himself after a few recurring injuries or else he just thinks he is a level above the SPL and is not applying the same focus and effort to games, thinking he can get away with just coasting through games. I'd love to see him get that energy and intensity back in his game as when he's tuned in and fit he's a joy to watch.

He was decent today and very effective but that was due to hot pitiful Killie were.

 

His race is run here he looks like he can't be arsed and I can't be arsed watching him not be arsed

Apart from one run literally straight from 2nd half kick off (would like to think he was given a rollicking by MoN) he sauntered about like he was on the beach.

 

He’s done here. Was better than he has been recently but that hardly glowing praise. Blatantly doesn’t want to be here anymore and I’d rather just * him off now until we can find a buyer in January.

 

I thought he played well. Visibly better than in previous games.

 

The sooner he goes the better, the guy has lots of talent but seems to think he is too good for this club.

 

Yeah, I'll give him his dues.

If he leaves either in January or the end of this season he'll go down as a net positive for the club but I can't stand the sight of him anymore.

 

He did but I think it was due to how poor Killie. If you let him play he can do thinks most players on the pitch can't but the problem has been when games have had a high tempo this year. He's getting bullied and caught on the ball. Really needs to up his effort.

 

No question that was his best game for us in quite a while. Maybe a positive reaction to being dropped recently. Lets hope we see more of it after this international window.

 

Thought he had a much improved game this weekend for sure so hopefully we see more of this after this international window.

 

Hopefully he continues to improve so we can continue to get results and also get a better fee for him.

Definitely not a player i’ll miss.

Will never forget just how unfit he was when he arrived and how long it took him to last 60 minutes without looking like death warmed up.
