Aye, looked a comfortable footballer, calm on the ball although a little robotic looking, passed it well, had a turn of pace when up to full tilt.

Definitely not a right-back though, funnily the closest thing to a right-back yesterday was when Trusty turned into Big Efe and went waltzing down the wing, taking a couple of guys on, playing a 1-2 and even beating the offside trap.

 

What was that song being sung about him and the IRA as well, was being sung for ages and funny now today I can't even mind the tune or what it was?

 

Put a decent ball into the box and looked very much the promising young talent he was touted as.

Could be interesting to see in a 3-5-2

 

I've thought for a while we should be trying 3-5-2, Forrest has played wing back in the past and Daizen has obvious qualities which you'd look for in a wing back. If only we had 2 strikers to play!

 

With the load of games we have through the start of January and the amount of defensive injuries we have we will need JSP for sure so it was good he had a solid debut yesterday.

 

Depending on who the new manager is I could see him getting quite a bit of game time between now and end of the season.

If we bring in someone who plays a high line and wants athletic cbs with pace then could see him and Trusty being a favourable pairing.

 

Solid debut. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

 

Withe the fixture list we have post this international window and the amount of defenders out injured we likely will be seeing a fair bit of JSP over the next 6-8 weeks.

 

And it's probably also gonna mean it was a good move to get him in early and acclimatised to everything

 

That could definitely happen, depending on who the boss is.

Trusty and JSP both have a fair of turn of speed and pace. I'm not a fan of the 3-5-2 normally, but I could see it work with JSP, Trusty and Scales.

 

3 at the back?

We only have 3 centre halves at the minute and could only name Murray as 1 on the bench. It's a non starter..

We have no wing backs. No pace out there whatsoever. We have 1 striker currently..
