Think its safe to say, Taylor has not set the heather alight as a LWB.
He seems to me to be effective enough as a full back.
Maybe Boli is more suited to LWB giving he has pace?? When league is wrapped up, would like to see Boli getting a run in a 3 5 2 and make a call in the summer.
Hayes is adequate as a stopgap/impact type.
Don't reckon MoEly has the pace to play wing back but good enough when a left back is playing behind him.

So overall, maybe we are OK if 4 at the back but if NL wants to stick with 3 at the back, looks like we need to invest in a proper wing back in the summer and move out a few.

A thought Danny Fox was a decent player in his brief time with us.

At least we've got 2 (3 if you include Hayes) LBs. With EL Hamed being injured so much we've spent most of the season playing an 18 year old winger at RB - Frimpong is great going forward and think he'll be good for us in the future but not convinced he's a RB. We might need to look at RB as well in the summer.

Anthony Ralston will be back from his loan...:fear: but yeah ideally Elhameds injury problems are behind him now and we get someone in to compete with him for the spot, I'd also like to see young Frimpong maybe pushed up to RW for a few games, would offer some competition to Forrest and maybe unearth a wee attacking gem.

So who do we rotate in at LB with Sarrachi out? Can't have KT starting every game.

Think it might have to be Scales again with JSP staring some games alongside Trusty at CB.

    Any youngsters we can play?

Criminal we had no succession plans for Anderson and more so Frame..

I like the look of Ronan Ferns who can play there. Big, quick and very attacking. Has been highly rated so maybe a chance for him to get in some squads soon..

Assume Inamura will get an opportunity now.

Id be okay with Inamura and Tierney for the season if Sarrachi's injury is bad.

We have far more pressing positions elsewhere.

Inamura looked class pre-season, forgot all about him tbh.

Problem is our next 3 fixtures are pretty solid so not sure if he would be ok to be thrown into any of them from the cold. Ideally KT manages the next 3 then he can get some minutes at home to Dundee.

Completely forgot about him. KT can have the Europa games and tougher domestic ones and Inamura the rest.

Think we've got to give him some game time against St Mirren, maybe a half each for him and KT. Then KT for Feuernord. Then play it by ear for Hibs, maybe start Inamura if he does well against St Mirren.

Did Trusty not start out as a full back? His pace might make him more natural there than Scales. Scales and JSP could play CB.

    That could work.

Trusty is faster than Scales, and could do the left back shift, and I think you are right, he played at left back first, before shifting to CB. Scales/Pusey would be an interesting partnership.
