According to information gathered by Africafoot , an official from Union Touarga Sport (UTS) confirmed in a telephone interview that the club's management has received official offers from Sunderland AFC, where Moroccan player Chemsdine Talbi currently plays, as well as from Celtic Glasgow, for the transfer of Hossam Essadak during the upcoming winter transfer window. This development marks a new stage in the saga surrounding the young Moroccan defensive midfielder, who has already been courted by several clubs for several months.

According to our sources, the UTS's position remains unchanged: no discussions will be opened with clubs in the Moroccan league, despite the repeated interest of Wydad Casablanca and RS Berkane, as exclusively revealed by Africafoot

Captain of the Moroccan U20 national team, Essadak particularly distinguished himself at the last U20 World Cup, where he was one of the key players in the Atlas Lions' historic victory. His positioning, vision, and tactical maturity have attracted the attention of several foreign scouts. According to our information, Sunderland and Celtic are both planning to send representatives to Morocco in the coming weeks to observe the player more closely before finalizing their approaches.

During the last summer transfer window, Essadak was very close to joining Las Palmas (Spain), as we previously reported . An agreement estimated at €400,000 had even been reached between the two clubs, before the Spanish club's relegation scuppered the transfer. Trained at the Mohammed VI Football Academy, Hossam Essadak embodies the ambitious new generation of Moroccan football. A modern midfielder, capable of winning back possession and distributing the ball with precision, he is establishing himself as one of the most promising players in the national league.

Union Touarga's management seems determined to offer their captain a European stepping stone commensurate with his potential. The coming weeks could be decisive, as official negotiations with Sunderland and Celtic are expected to intensify before the opening of the winter transfer window.

Looks very lightweight. Could be a decent player but not the profile we are crying out for now.
