In the Rangers game during the first half, I actually couldn’t believe what I was seeing when he was holding the ball in and dribbling by or at least through players. Everytime I have seen him try that before he genuinely looked like a competition winner.

A bit of a mixed bag today in terms of finished his goal well, unlucky with hitting the post and I thought he should have done better with his headed chance.

However, since O’Neill came in 4 games 4 goals so fair play to him and hopefully he can continue that form.

I was initially harsh on him, mainly because I was annoyed about the fact we found ourselves in a position where we are relying on him.

I still don’t think he’s ever going to be good enough to be our main man, but his form in the last few weeks has suggested he may well be a decent option as a third choice striker.

Showing he's a much better all round player for us than Idah was.
Ignore the numbers of goals at this stage, just simply put, Kenny runs more, gets in to better striker positions, has hunger and helps unsettle the opponents.

His goals are coming as well, if he was to play the season in the game time he is getting last two weeks, he will smash through the 20 goals easily.

Whether or not he’s a medium or long term solution is kinda immaterial at this point.

We needed him to step up and he’s stepped up. All credit to him for that.

Agreed. I think Idah has more ability but Kenny has been levels above what we saw from Idah in his final few months in terms of overall performance.

He's definitely progressed but is no way the finished article.

Idah could have got on alright domestically under the current system. Would have been interesting to see. The team was underperforming in general and the system was not creating many chances. Kenny looked pretty average in it himself. Idah probably carried the can because of his price tag.

To be fair Idah might be doing well the way we play now too, we are creating far more chances and putting far more balls in the box playing the way we do now.

Kenny has probably had about 15 decent chances to score since O'Neill came in.

The entire squad hardly had 15 decent chances the whole season up till then, we were doing nothing.

hardworking, honest and there is talent there. To be honest with our current state you can't ask for much more from the lad. Glad he's taking his chance

The most important thing from a striker is to score goals. He can't be faulted in that department to date.

Would love to see Kyogo on the end of this form.

But honesty fair * to Kenny, he's absolutely taking this opportunity by the horns and as others have said, a striker is there to score.and that is what he's doing.

Living the dream and I'm 100% jealous

He's definitely trying everything to seize his chance, his movement is good and finishing is ok..

His touch will never be good enough for us, but he definitely has attributes and seems very level headed.

For me I think if he was ever going to make it at Celtic he needed this season to go out on loan and play every week like Scales and Christie did at Aberdeen or Ajer at Kilmarnock. The fact he didn't was yet another of the boards screw ups this summer IMHO. But we are where we are now and certainly through the end of December we will be seeing plenty of Kenny so lets hope he can continue his goalscoring run.
